Leonardo Da Vinci's mona lisa, Monet, Van Gogh etc. Then add in female artists, contemporary artists, artists using different genres and subject matter, etc. so that they have a wide experience base. I hope that helps!Mrs. Teitsmahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09880178662663912858noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6187260423993023272.post-63173444832453493732013-09-11T09:17:51.775-07:002013-09-11T09:17:51.775-07:00Hi Yali! Sometimes from year to year we revise it but for the most part it stays the same. Then we add artists to it depending on our own interests. If we repeat an artist, great! THen we just go into more depth on that artist's work and life. The depth we go to depends on the maturity level of the class. Enough to spark their curiosity and passion, not so much as to bore them. :) Find some good children's books, create some great slide shows, and bring out your acting skills to make those artists come to life! :) Have fun!Mrs. Teitsmahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09880178662663912858noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6187260423993023272.post-56587586043101835872013-09-10T13:26:11.228-07:002013-09-10T13:26:11.228-07:00Love how you ladies organize and decorate your art...Love how you ladies organize and decorate your art room. I'm an art teacher myself, in NYC. I'm curious of how you decide which artists each grade learn about? Do you change them every year? If so, how do you keep the grades from repeat learning the same artists? How in depth do you go into learning about the artists and their art? Thanks! =) Ms. ArtsyLinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13112029898545058404noreply@blogger.com
